Lee, 20, collects once-worn dresses from girls in the South Jersey area, stores them in her parents' living room and sells them for $10 each at a prom event each March.To build donor incentive, she gives the funds raised to the school or organization that donates the most dresses. This year, for the first time, Lee expanded her drive to the Rutgers munity in New Brunswick, which responded with more than 200 dresses.



Lee collected nearly 600 dresses triple the amount she did in her first year of the project.Tomorrow, she will bring her dresses to New Brunswick High School at 1000 Somerset St., where she will hold a second and final sale of the season from 1 to 3 p.m.The first sale, held last Saturday at Cinnaminson High School, brought in $1,148 through the sale of hundreds of dresses and donations.Lee, who studies political science and planning and public policy at Rutgers, does all the work. Last weekend, during a visit to Cinnaminson, she made stops at 17 donors' homes to pick up donated dresses. "As the time gets closer, a lot more time is spent, but it's manageable, and I definitely think it's worth it, so I don't really mind too much," she says.

Why not donate it and give it to someone that can use it?" she says.
